Special Olympics Month in Canada
November was Special Olympics Month in Canada and Canadians were encouraged to "be a fan" and support Special Olympics Canada and make a difference in the lives of athletes with an intellectual disability.
Special Olympics Canada is proud to announce that Patricia Davidson (Sarnia-Lambton, ON, CPC) Member of Parliament addressed the House of Commons on November 23, 2007 and supported the declaration of November 2007 as Special Olympics Month. She also encouraged all Canadians to help make a difference in their local communities in support of sport programs for Special Olympics athletes.
