STAPLES Business Depot In-store Fundraiser raises $574,539 to help make Dreams Come True for Special Olympics Athletes
Toronto, ON – November 1 – 17, 2007 STAPLES Business Depot customers across the country helped change the lives of athletes with an intellectual disability by raising $574,539 for STAPLES Business Depot’s Give a Dollar. Share a Dream. campaign.
Over the past eight years, STAPLES Business Depot and its customers have raised more than $2.5 million for Special Olympics Canada through the Give a Dollar. Share a Dream. campaign. This money goes towards developing and maintaining sport programs for Special Olympics athletes in their local communities as well as helping Special Olympics Canada’s national team athletes train and compete.
