On Thursday June 12, 2008 at Toronto’s Playtime Bowl, Doug Gilmour and Jim Cuddy will team up in support of the Special Olympics Canada Foundation in a one day celebrity bowl-a-thon.
For the last four years, Doug Gilmour and Jim Cuddy have raised $400,000 in support of a variety of charities through this wonderful event and on Thursday June 12, 2008 the 5th annual Dougy, Cuddy & Friends Celebrity Bowl, will bring together Doug Gilmour, Jim Cuddy, Special Olympics athletes and more than 50 celebrities from both the sport and entertainment industries.
Bobby Orr, Bryan McCabe, Kyle Wellwood and Matt Stajan have all participated in the past as celebrity friends, and this year promises to be an even more exciting event. Corporations and individuals can help support this wonderful fundraiser by:
· Purchasing a corporate team
· Becoming an event sponsor
· Donating products for prizing
· Making a pledge to Doug Gilmour, Jim Cuddy or directly to Special Olympics athletes
