Bruce Shuh’s 35 Day Motorcycle Trip in support of Special Olympics Canada




After an incredible 35 years at Home Hardware, Director of Marketing, Mr. Bruce Shuh has retired and to help celebrate his retirement he will embark on a 35 day motorcycle trip in support of Special Olympics Canada.

Mr. Shuh and Home Hardware have supported Special Olympics since 1999, at the national, regional and local levels and the 35 day motorcycle trip is another example of the difference Home Hardware continues to make in the lives of athletes with an intellectual disability. Special Olympics Canada is honoured to have Mr. Shuh raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics athletes, as he begins his journey into retirement.

Mr. Shuh’s adventure will begin on May 4, 2008 as he rides out of Waterloo, Ontario. Some of the exciting destinations along his path will include the famous Route 66, Pikes Peak in Colorado, the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Vancouver Island, the Canadian Rockies and Yellowstone Park.
